Abstract (EN)

For the world economies on the road to globalization, the incomes brought by additional foreign countries are very important in the process of developing economies. There are many decisive factors and types for these incomes that enter the country through foreign direct capital investments. In our country, there is a market size where geographical position is also effective as an advantage in the top of these factors. In the examinations, it was seen that the region with the most investments to Turkey was European countries. It has been determined that the sector with the most investments is the services sector. When we look at the situation in the world of foreign direct investment in the tourism sector, which is considered to be a very important sector fort he development of national economies, it is observed that the share of GDP has increased with the increase in tourism revenues in some periods. It also seems that the tourism sector, details of which are included in the study, is also effective in the change of employment and exports. In Turkey, it has been found that investments from abroad in accommodation and food activities covering the tourism sector are on the rise. As in the world, the share of tourism in GDP, employment and exports detailed in the relevant sections of the study is effective within our country. The problems and solutions related to all these issues are included in the last part of the study.
