Motor-Sports, considering world and our country in general, is a field of sports that is desired extremely in the world for years and that is being interested in our country just for the last years. Motor-sports are not only an organization that collects audiences. The most interested sport among motor-races is Formula 1 Races. Formula 1 Races, which have been arranged since 2005 in our country, are envisaged as it has significant improvements for tourism and information of Turkey. From that point of view, the research?s aim is to exhibit what are the effects of Formula 1 Grand Prix for tourism information of Turkey and its aim is to exhibit those effects with the help of questionnaires that will be done with foreigner visitors coming Istanbul Racing Circuit on which Formula 1 Races is realized.The research population is composed of foreigner tourists who come to watch Formula 1 Turkey Grand Prix 2008. Based on the fact that more of the audiences of Turkey Grand Prix 2008 is the foreigner tourists, 30.000 population is taken for the research. Sample is found as 382 by using Ryan?s sample formula. More of the sample is reached by the contact of 412 visitors. Research outcomes are analyzed by using SPSS 11.5.In the research outcomes, according to the questionnaire that is filled by foreigner tourists, it is seen that, Formula 1 Races have positive effects for tourism information of Turkey and proposals for the advertisement and information more effectively is placed in the research outcome.
