Özet (EN)

In this study, word groups identified through the scanning of texts compiled after 1940 from provinces and regions within the borders of the Republic of Türkiye are examined. In our study, which includes the Eastern Thrace provinces alongside regions belonging to three main dialect groups, a total of 90 different works were scanned, and the word groups were evaluated under their respective headings in terms of their structural characteristics, the roles they play in syntax, and their relationships with other word groups. Examples obtained from the scanned works were used in the study while adhering to the spelling conventions in the texts. The identified word groups were examined in twelve categories, which include noun phrases, adjective phrases, gerundial phrases, interjection groups, compound noun groups, adverbial groups, prepositional groups, title groups, compound verbs, repetition groups, numeral groups, and abbreviation groups. In Turkish dialects spoken in Türkiye, word groups identified display specific structural formations akin to written language, yet they may exhibit numerous distinct features diverging from the standard language. All identified word groups offer Turkish language speakers unlimited opportunities for expressing any concept, entity, state, or action. From this perspective, they are extensively utilized as the foremost element of syntax in both written and spoken discourse. The structural formation of word groups in dialects, which are more linguistically variable and flexible compared to the standard language and the impact of dialectal characteristics on the structure and functioning of these groups have been thoroughly analyzed, taking into consideration the syntactic functions of word groups.
