Abstract (EN)
Spoken language, in other words dialect, varies from person to person and from region to region because it is not governed by any rules or set to a certain standard, unlike written language. Determining the present tense suffixes in the Turkey Turkish dialects discussed in the study will greatly benefit the mutual relationship between the common language and the spoken language. At the same time, identifying the present tense suffixes used in Turkey Turkish dialects, which are the subject of the study, will contribute greatly to the development of the written language, which benefits from the spoken language, especially regarding the functions and structures of morphological suffixes, words. Just as there were changes in different periods of the Turkish written language, there are also differences in the suffixes and words used to express the concept of present tense among the dialects of the Oghuz tribes that migrated to different regions in Anatolia and Rumelia. The present tense suffix –(I)yor, which is one of the main present tense suffixes and is based on the written language, appears with a variety of vowel and consonant sounds. It is seen that this suffix, whose main function is to express the present time, is also used to express other time periods. If there is a sentence formed with the adverb -sA in the sentence where -yor is the predicate, the time period expressed by the predicate indicates the future time. In Diyarbakır Çüngüş, Erzincan Refahiye Artvin Ardanuç, Bingöl Karlıova, Gümüşhane, Tunceli Pertek dialects, unlike the -yor suffix, the -yer suffix is used, which is an independent suffix with the same function as the yeer/ -yee present tense suffix in Turkmen Turkish. It is seen that there are differences in words as well as in suffixes in Turkey Turkish dialects. In Turkey Turkish dialects, the present time adverb, unlike the written language, appears in forms such as şindi, şincik, nowadays, şındi, sumdi, şini, indi.
