The examinition of the relati̇on ship between internatioanal trade and international transportati̇on in Turkey (2002-2017)

Transportation have an important place in the export and import transactions of the national and international companies that have settled in different parts of the world. Transportation is so important because it acts as a bridge between producer and consumer. Efficient and effective works in transportation can be advantageous for countries and companies to adapt to global competition conditions in the world. Transportation, is one of the most important processes in the logistics sector. Businesses can increase productivity, if they can minimizing the cost of transportation, delivery of the products on time and protect the environment. In this thesis ıt was examined the types of transportation that is road, sea, railway, airline and other methods in transport in Turkey between 2002 and 2017. These transportation types were separately compared with export and import. Finally, some, suggestions were made about the transport sector in ınternational trade for the future.
