Abstract (EN)
The main subject of the study; One of the main tools of fiscal policy is the effect of tax revenues on economic growth. Firstly, within the scope of historical and theoretical approaches of tax, firstly Classical Economics, Keynesian economics and Neo Classical and Economics models and their approaches to tax are mentioned. Then, indirect and direct tax distinction and collection procedures within the structure of taxes were mentioned. After that, economic growth theories and the effects of taxes were mentioned. Finally, based on the 2000-2018 period in Turkey, the impact of taxes on economic growth were detailed.
