Özet (EN)

Conflicts affecting the social life between two religious groups in Istanbul, the capital of the Ottoman Empire in the 17th century, have been observed. The parties of conflicts were some charismatic persons and communities called as "Kadizedeli"s and "Sivasiler" the religious fanatics. The effect of "Kadizadeli"s on the governing of the Ottoman Empire caused the "Sivasi"s to remain under various pressures. Various pamphlets written and read by the public have affected the behaviors of people. Discussions and heavy accusations have been in mosques by preaches, even such accusations reached to killing. These have arisen not only from extreme religious discrepancy but also from intervention in direction of benefits and mentality of "Kadizadeli"s by effecting upon the Ruler and the Empire. The Empire, the main authority regulating the order and peace of the society, cancelled the religious lodges in direction of wishes of "Kadizadeli"s or by religious opinions of the Sheikh, banned the comments of fate, and sometimes contravened the "KadizadelP's. Simmel, Pareto and Djilas verified such conflicts. Pareto explained the ethics of any religious community caused conflicts. Djilas explained that there have been conflicts among those who benefited by the empire subsidies and those who did not benefit. Simmel explained that the conflicting party had been a third person or any person near to that party. There was similarity in regards of approach of 'KadizadelP's and "Sivasi"s. "Kadizadeli"s tried to obtain the power of authority in the ruling of the empire and tried to diffuse their mentality and ethic views upon the people. Vll
