Economic policies and the results applied in the fight against poverty in Turkey

The problem of poverty is one of the most important problems of the changing and developing world. According to past centuries our world is growing economically. But in general, the economic level between countries opens up. On the other hand, in many countries similar situations arise among their own people. As a result, economic and social problems are increasing. To overcome these problems, some organizations around the world are working on the reduction of poverty. There are certain activities to reduce poverty in some public and private institutions in Turkey. This study is intended is to evaluate in detail the implementation and results towards reducing poverty in Turkey. First, some basic definitions of poverty will be made and the causes of poverty will be explained. In the second part, studies carried out on behalf of poverty in the world will be examined institutionally and regionally. In the third section, it looks briefly into poverty policies and institutional practices in Turkey will be discussed in detail. Finally, the results obtained from the studies on the fight against poverty will be examined and the situation will be evaluated. Keywords: Poverty, Poverty Policies, Institutional Practices.
