Effect of Russia in textile industry in Turkey

This Study aims at investigating Russian impact in Turkish fashion sector by discussing the chronological evolvement of fashion worldwide, social processes of the trends, the reflection of these trends in Turkey, the influence of the worldwide trends in Russia, and the impact of Russian fashion and textile industry in Turkish context. The study is comprised of 3 chapters, First chapter deals with the historical development process of the fashion and textile sector and historical social events that affects whole range of countries in the world subsequently. Second chapter explains the processes of fashion and its sub sectors within Turkish context and the historical background of Turkish fashion sector. The last and third chapter of the study further investigates the developments in Russia in terms of fashion sector, fashion trends that marks the world within Bolshevik period, the situation of fashion sector after the disintegration of the Soviet Union in detail and the overall Russian influence in Turkish fashion context.
