Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the social, economic and psychological factors that cause migration activities from rural to urban areas in Turkey and the social, economic and psychological problems that occur after migration. Within the framework of this objective, the studies that have been done previously on migration from the rural to the urban areas have been created. 280 surveys were carried out with the heads of households who reside continuously in the districts and villages of the Central District of Erzincan province in order to reveal the economic, social and psychological reasons of migration in the region. The horizontal section data obtained as a result of this survey were analyzed by using LYSREL 8.72 and SPSS 13 package programs with structural equation model. As a result of the analyses, it has been determined that the economic, sociological and psychological factors causing the migration, which is an undesirable phenomenon, are important..
