Abstract (EN)
Turkmen Turkish has been extensively studied and researched by linguists and researchers. Such studies on Turkmen Turkish can also shed light on the general grammatical features of the Turkic languages and the overall development of the language family. These studies include the structure, history, dialects, oral and written literature, grammatical features, vocabulary, and social and cultural usage of the Turkmen language. Examining grammatical features, such as modal words, is crucial for understanding the functioning of the language and tracking its development. This study on the modal words in Turkmen Turkish aims to gain a better understanding of the structure of Turkmen Turkish. Although there is no word type called modal words in Turkish, determining how Turkmen Turkish, as a dialect of Turkish, evolves and changes in its own geography will be beneficial for tracking this process
