Abstract (EN)

Objective: The aim of this Research is to examine the effects of combined resistance training applied to U-19 football players under field conditions based on multiple performance analysis on their performance. Method: A total of 30 male football players playing in the U-19 football league participated in our research voluntarily. The research was conducted on two groups. The combined resistance training group (KDAG) with an average age of 18.87±0.35 years, an average body weight of 69.66±7.86 kg and an average height of 178.87±6.61 cm was included in the study, and the average age was 18.93±0. The control group (CG), 25 years old, with an average body weight of 67.29±13.39 kg and an average height of 177.27±6.14 cm, participated voluntarily. Before and after the 8-week training period applied to football players, posture analysis (anterior and lateral), anthropometric measurement (subcutaneous fat) and biomotoric tests (maximal force, sprint, push-up, sit-up, standing long jump, vertical jump, right-left single leg jump and flexibility) was achieved. A statistical package program was used to analyze the data. Paired Samples t Test was used for intragroup comparisons. Independent Samples t Test was used for comparisons between groups. Results: In the study, more significant results were obtained in some posture, subcutaneous fat, 1 RM and strength variables compared to KDAG and KG. Epicondylus medialis anterior, tragus lateral, upper rowing, abdominal, push-up, 30 meter variables of the combined resistance training group increased more significantly than the control group. Conclusion: In our study, we can say that the combined resistance training program applied for 8 weeks had positive effects on the performance of the football players on posture, subcutaneous fat, 1 RM, sprint, push-ups, sit-ups, standing long jump, vertical jump and right one-foot jump. Key words: football, combined training, performance, u-19.
