Abstract (EN)

In ready wear industry, manufacturing begins with design stage. Data richness at the design stage affects model variety and sales capacity. The fact the design stage is fast ensures delivery of the model to the customer sooner, and is effective in economical balances. In terms of model design, technology has also affected ready wear industry, and three-dimensional simulation systems have been made available for use by designers. Three-dimensional simulation systems give the designers the opportunity of creating the test designs rapidly and receiving the initial feedback soon so as to enable the designers explore the design field and create a reasonable design in technical terms. When it is switched from design to bulk manufacturing stage, the reality dimension of the results obtained on three-dimensional systems is measured. In this study, the lifecycle of top group (dress, jacket) and bottom group (skirt, trousers) women wear models from model design to manufacturing stage on these system, which were newly introduced for use in Turkey, were examined, and the systems were evaluated in terms of application in real manufacturing process. The general objective of this study is to determine effect of three-dimensional simulation systems on the manufacturing process of top group and bottom group women models. In order to achieve this objective, it was tried to reveal fitness of top group and bottom group model designs to real human body, fitness to pattern form, fitness to design forms, and fitness to manufacturing process. The study universe is comprised by the three-dimensional wear design software used in Turkey, and study sample is comprised by Vidya Assyst simulation software. Experimental methods were used in the study. Pilot simulation activities in relation to top group and bottom group were conducted within the scope of the study, and two model simulations selected from each group were compared using real product observation form.As a result of the current situation regarding the impact of the research analysis was made in the production process simulation programs, not yielded positive results in the human body and obtained positive results in terms of the production process and various suggestions were made for the simulation program.
