Abstract (EN)

Technological advances lead to the discovery of new or significantly improved methods of producing goods. Additive manufacturing technologies like 3D printing allow the direct production of complex parts that are not possible with traditional methods. Currently, Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), being the most popular and inexpensive method of additive manufacturing, is attracting increasing attention for low-volume production. In this study, a 3D-FDM printer with a print volume of 200x200x210 mm has been designed and manufactured. PLA (polylactic acid) test samples having 5 different infill geometries were produced with the 3D printer. Tensile, impact, and three-point bending tests were applied to these samples to investigate the effect of inner filling geometry on mechanical properties.
