Abstract (EN)
The study was carried out using male and female brood stocks from three small-scale rainbow trout farming enterprises in Adana Province. After measuring the length and weight of the fish, some sperm and egg quality parameters were examined from the sperm and egg samples taken. The mean weights, which are not statistically different, were 350.30±41.88 for each farm; 320.33±15.31 and 226.27±35.89 (P<0.05). It was determined that there was no statistically significant difference between the farms in terms of average egg weights (42.53 mg and 51.32 mg) and diameters (4.25 mm and 4.65 mm), which are among the egg quality parameters. In addition, when the fatty acid contents of the eggs were examined, it was determined that there was no difference in terms of ΣMUFA, ΣPUFA, n3 v3 n6 fatty acids. However, when it comes to sperm quality parameters, significant differences in parameters such as the amount of sperm (5.71±0.64 ml), total spermatozoa (182.40 ± 173.3 x109) and the percentage of motile sperm (77.99±12.46 %) were determined. Key words: Rainbow trout, sperm quality, egg quality, Oncorhynchus mykiss
