Abstract (EN)

Motivation is the sum of the efforts shown to constantly mobilize one or more people towards a specific purpose. Salary and job satisfactions are two key factors affecting the employee motivation at a workplace. The study carried out consists of four parts. In the first part, the concept of salary satisfaction, the important theories about salary and the results of salary satisfaction have been investigated. In the second part, the concept of job satisfaction, the emergence of it, theories about job satisfaction, factors affecting job satisfaction, and the results about job satisfaction and dissatisfaction have been discussed. In the third part, the concept, importance, and theories of motivation, motivation-job satisfaction, and motivation-salary satisfaction have been examined. In the fourth part, the effects of salary and job satisfactions on employee motivation have been investigated using a field survey. According to the findings of the study, it has been seen that the salary and job satisfactions have a positive correlation with employee motivation. However, the correlation between the salary satisfaction and employee motivation has not been found to be statistically significant. On the other hand, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee motivation, because it has been determined that while the job satisfaction of the individuals involved in the survey increases, the motivation of the employees also increases.
