Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of the study, the performance of roller compacted concrete (RCC) was examined. This study discusses various aspects of roller compacted concrete while revealing the similarities and differences between using conventional concrete. It also includes concrete production and comprehensive laboratory studies for quality control of both types of concrete. An overview of what RCC actually is, followed by mix design techniques, performance (strength and durability), and curing guidelines for both types of concrete are explained in detail within the scope of the study. It addresses the development of an environmentally sustainable roller compacted concrete (RCC) using high volume fly ash as a partial replacement for cement and admixtures, respectively. By preparing four combinations for both concrete uses in a laboratory environment, the compressive strengths of these test samples were determined and the variables that were decisive on these results were tried to be determined.
