Examination of Udi Nevres Bey's works in terms of kind and form

The purpose of this research is to contribute to the repertoire of Turkish music works by examining and interpreting the works of Udi Nevres Bey in terms of form. This work is a descriptive research based upon the scanning model in terms of its general framework, aim and method. Preliminary information was acquired by scanning various sources on the subject, and all of the existing masterpieces of Udi Nevres Bey, who were included in the sample, were used as data collection tool. Udi Nevres Bey, considered one of the most important virtuosos of Turkish Music, has composed many works that occupy a few place in the Turkish music repertoire. He brought a different style to the instrumental form with the works he composed. This work is important in respect of revealing the technical features of Udi Nevres Bey's works and determining how he handled the instrumental and vocal form.
