Comparison of various Ukrainian indicators with European Union countries and evaluation of the possibility of membership

The aim of this dissertation is to evaluate possibility of membership of Ukraine, one of the East European partners of European Union with the European Union Neighbourhood Policy. It is compared Ukraine's economic, social and political indicators with European Union countries. The protests and problems in the country started in autumn of 2013 and continued in 2014 effected European future of Ukraine seriosly. After ex-president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich rejected signing of European Union Association Agreement, protests all over the country started and later became a civil war in the east of Ukraine. After the results of these developments showed that relationship between Ukraine and European Union will get better and one day Ukraine will get rid of Russian effect and has the increasing possibility to become a member of European Union.
