Abstract (EN)
This study was prepared in order to bring up, in what fields and which countries Turkey can compete with the selected countries in the field of ready to wear garments. Our strength of competition is consisted of the costs in the sector (electricity cost, work power cost) and the off-the cost (brand promotion, market share).With the help of multi dimensional scaling analysis, the clustering map was laid out and Turkey?s advantages and disadvantages in the field are displayed .10 countries? strength of competition, including Turkey,(Germany, England, Italy, France, U.S. , China, India ,Brazil and Greece) was compared with the analysis of the mentioned countries datas.In the analysis;1-The raw material costs2-Work power costs3-Electricity costs4-Tax rates5-Brand promotion6-Research-improvement investments7-The year 2005 data of exportation was consideredAfter doing the multi dimensional analysis, the SWOT analysis which will display our strong and weak sides and our threats and opportunities in the sector, was mentioned.Keywords: Ready-to Wear, Multidimensional Scaling, Swot Analysis, Cost, Trade-Mark
