SUMMARY Master Thesis M.Taner ŞENGÜN The Relations Between Main Geomorphological Units and Land Use in Uluova Ftrat University The İnstituation of Social Sciences The Department Of Geography 2000, 120 Page Uluova is subsidance or plaine as a tectonic Bent System on Southeast Taurus at upper Fırat Region of East Anatolia. Uluova is one of the most important agriculture area of Turkey, with social and economical activity that placed pre-historical seasons ago. Today also has first class agricultural areas and rich products on this subsidance basin. Phsical conditions are more influenced over Uluova areas while it is used on the researchb area main geomorphological units are these; mountains, high and low plateaus, plains, alluvial cones and fans, piedmont plains, valleys, stream terraces and straits. When we examine this investigation region we can see that mountain parts are used as grassland, planting and rocky places and plateaus and piedmont plains are used as dry farming area; and higs parts of alluvial cones are used as vineyard and garden, and the low parts of alluvial cones are used as flood region and plain bases and stream terraces are mostly used as weet agricultural regions and residance places.
