Abstract (EN)
In this thesis; as an alternative dispute resolution method, mediation in international child abduction cases will be covered based on Convention on The Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction (Concluded October 25, 1980). In this context, the legal bases of mediating child abduction cases will be determined in Turkish law. In over the world, pilot projects and countries practices on mediating international child abduction cases will be analysed. In addition to these, international documents about mediating child abduction cases will be examined and a new mediation model that is compatible with contract and special features of abduction cases will be created.
