International compulsory liability insurance for motor vehicles

The procedure of green card system has been proceed by the centers named as ?Office? in the countries which is the party of green card system. These Offices guarantees the indemnification of the damages arising from the traffic accidents by regulating the documents related with compulsory liability insurance which is named as green card insurance. Green card insurance covers the liability of motor vehicle operator in all the countries included in green card system. Thereby, the protection shall be provided in all countries included in the system with just a single insurance card. The Office which takes place at the country, on the condition that being the party of the system, where the traffic accident has happened undertakes the liability to indemnify the damages according to regulations belongs its own country, on behalf of the guarantor Office. Thereby, the person who had an accident has been protected.It is aimed to provide equality to the people who had a traffic accidents in Europe. Public regulations have been tried to be compatible with each other by the Directives of the European Union, even if the validity of the unique regulations shall not be provided. Beyond that, the regulations parallel to the green card system between the guarantee founds have been taken into consideration for the reason to provide equal protection to the person had a traffic accidents.The green card system have been executed in deed, since 1964.
