Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, it was aimed to determine perceived well-being levels, the challenges they face, and the educational needs of international undergraduate students of Recep Tayyip Erdogan University. The quantitative sample was 181 international undergraduate students actively studying at Recep Tayyip Erdogan University; in the qualitative dimension, the study group was 20 international undergraduate students. This study was conducted in sequential explanatory mixed method. The quantitative data were collected through the 'Perceived Well-being Scale' developed by Adams, Bezner and Steinhardt (1997), and adapted into Turkish by Karagözoğlu (2012), and the ''Educational Requirements Inventory of Recep Tayyip Erdogan University International Undergraduate Students' developed by Karabacak (2019). Qualitative data were collected by using semi-structured interview forms. The quantitative data were analyzed by using IBM 24 SPSS program and qualitative data were analyzed through content analysis and descriptive analysis technique. As a result, it was concluded that the perceived well-being of international undergraduate students was high. International students have life problems, educational problems, student service problems, socio-cultural problems, psychological problems, academic problems and have educational needs to be supported in these issues. Based on the findings, a proposal was made to establish an Academic Support Center to overcome the academic problems of international undergraduate students of Recep Tayyip Erdogan University and meet their educational needs.
