Abstract (EN)

Globalization and innovation activities increase, verify and also become complicated. This situation stands out in economy like every fields. By passing national borders, developing economic relations with other countries becomes effective to provide a direction the innovation strategies in terms of micro and macro. At that point, the aim of the study appears. It has been observed Turkey's point of view with empirical study whether and how internationalization activities of country (firm) economies have an effect on innovation and, if so, on which way. Surveys conducted by the World Bank, EBRD and TOBB in various years in Turkey (2002, 2005, 2008 and 2015) and on the responses given by firms to these surveys these are also variables which originate the model of study that is related to innovation, export, import, direct foreign investment has been taken and organized also conducted cross section analysis in the scope of the aim of study. Also is lacated control variables (firm size and firm sector) in the study. As a method Logistic Regression Analysis method was used in modelling process in this study. The result which is gained in the accordance with this method; there is a relationship between internalizaton of firms and innovation activities in Turkey. In this context, it has been observed that as the companies become more international, the innovation capacities increase.
