The perception of İslam in Turkish novel of nation building process (1923-1929)

Since Islamic civilization has emerged societies have progressed through a regulatory and binding system. Transition from a multicultural environment to the nation- state system, such as the emperor, is transformed in both the political and religious spheres. The establishment of the Notion of nationalization on positivist foundations weakens the authority of religion in particular. According to this, religion and other belief elements löse their dominance in politics. With the separation of religion and state affairs, religion becomes a passive state in the social sphere. The new nation- state structure established after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire brings many changes. How these innovations take place in practice and theory and how the Islamic order is constructed and how the novels are prepared as a tool will be tried to be determined. In this context, in the novels of 1923-1929 reflection forms of the targets of the founding authority will be examined with be tried to solve the religious discourses developed in the novels and the tendency to sanctify them.
