Abstract (EN)

Since the eighteenth century approach of folklore through the transition of folklore from the culture for policy approach to the policy for culture approach, the influence of the Proclamation of Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity have been recognized from the culture oriented studies of the UNESCO. Because, the efforts intended for establishing policies for culture within the scope of the Proclamation of the Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity history have been resulted with the proclamation of masterpiece program has made it necessary to take folklore into consideration in accordance with the economy, industrial sector and disciplines such as media and tourism. On the other hand, awakening the idea of awareness of destruction of folklore with the globalization has developed the policies intended for protecting the culture. It has provided that the UNESCO has recognized that situation after the World War II and directed its cultural studies towards protective programs.The relation of Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity with the cultural policies have been tried to be put forward by emphasizing the Proclamation of Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity Lists 0f 2001, 2003 and 2005 in the frame of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. It has been discussed whether the Proclamation of the Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity have any impact on the cultural policies or not. This study has aimed to create a new perspective for folklore by defending the thesis that it would be possible to create national and international cultural policies by means of the intangible cultural heritage.The Key Words:1.
