The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable scale that can be used to determine the self-efficacy perceptions of university English preparatory class students. The validity and reliability studies of the scale were carried out with the participation of 269 students studying at Adnan Menderes University School of Foreign Languages in the spring term of the 2020-2021 academic year. Due to the fact that there is no face-to-face education in our country due to the Pandemic and the students live in different cities, the pilot application form data were collected through "Google Forms". First of all, a literature review on English self-efficacy scales was made, expert opinion was sought and 50 items were written. As a result of the analyzes made, the number of items was updated as 27. The Cronbah's Alpha coefficient of the scale is .955, the KMO coefficient is .826 and the Barlett test result is 3169.28. The scale is a 5-point Likert type and consists of 5 factors. These factors are; Comprehension consists of reading, listening, speaking and writing. SPSS 23 statistical program was used in the analysis. The findings show that the scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool.
