Abstract (EN)
There is an ongoing change in library services parallel changes in information technologies to adapt to major and fundamental. Libraries have to change their understanding of information services due to the changing demands and needs of library users as service providers. As the first step of this change, libraries should be user-oriented rather than library-oriented while producing services. The quality of information services depends on user-oriented services. The aim of this study is to examine the information services provided in university libraries and to show how the information service could be performed in a way that provides user satisfaction in the context of Istanbul Kultur University Library Case. In this research, the data obtained from the surveys were evaluated. As a result of the research, Istanbul Kultur University Library was found to be sufficient in terms of providing user-oriented information services and user satisfaction. In addition to this, some suggestions were made to maximize user satisfaction.
