Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to investigate the relationship of attention deficit hyperactivity with depression and self-esteem among university students. A total of 200 students, 100 girls and 100 boys, were chosen randomly from a private university in Istanbul that is currently continuing in the law, psychology and mathematics departments. This study were tested with Beck Depression Scale, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Scale and Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory. As a result of the study, there was a significant positive correlation between attention deficit hyperactivity level and depression level of the individuals. As attention deficit and hyperactivity levels increase, depression levels increase. There was a negative correlation between the levels of depression and self-esteem of individuals. As the level of depression increases, the level of self-esteem decreases.
