Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between individuals' psychological birth order and adult attachment styles. The sample of the study consists of 475 university students, 154 males and 321 females, over the age of 18 from various universities. Data were obtained using Demographic Information Form, White-Campbell Psychological Birth Order Inventory, and Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory-2 (YİYE II) scales. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that adult attachment styles may have a role in explaining the psychological birth order differences of individuals. Moreover, it was shown that the relationship between psychological birth order and adult attachment styles was significant, and there were differences among groups in psychological birth order and avoidant, anxious and secure attachment style scores. The findings obtained as a result of the analysis of the research were interpreted through the studies in the literature and suggestions were made.
