A study to examinate the entrepreneurship prosperities of university stu- dents: Sample of the university of Sakarya, faculty of political sciences

The role of production in economy is without doubt very important. The importance of the as fourth production factor considered entrepreneurship which posseses the capability of producing competitive goods and services by means of taking risks by gathering the production factors, by following the innovations, by evaluating the opportunities occuring in the market is increasing day by day. It contributs positively in development of the entrepreneurship level in society and the social and economic structure of society. Students possess a great potential concerning the entrepreneurship. Therefore it is of great impor- tance to research and analyse the entrepreneurship potential of university students. The goal of this thesis is to research the entrepreneurship potential of the students of the Universitiy of Sakarya, Faculty of Political Sciences, and to determin what is influencing this properties. The research was carried out at the University of Sakarya, Faculty of Poli- tical Sciences among students studying in the academic year 2015-2016. In this research primarily a literature research was carried out and information supporting the subject of the thesis were given. Afterwards a survey was made with the students and the obtained data was analysed with a level of significance of 5% by means of the SPSS program findings were obtained and these findings were interpreted and conclusions were derived. According to the results of the analysis; In this study about entrepreneurship sta-tistically great differences were detected between the participants' age, brothers ranking, until now they have worked in a job or not, wether they have their own business idea sor not, what their aim of carreer is. In result of the performed tests the participants of 26 and older compared with the 25 and younger, the little brother compared with the elder brother, those who have until now worked in a job compared with those who have until now not worked in a job, those who have their own business ideas compared with those who have no own business ideas, those who want to establish their own business compared whith those who wants paid work were considered statistically the more entrepreneurial. Related with the participants of this study about entrepreneurship there was statistically no relevant difference found concerning the age, the number of siblings, the education status of parents, the 1. degree relatives of wether self employed or not.
