Abstract (EN)

Location- based marketing is a global marketing strategy letting on the go end users engaged via mobile apps and targeting them thereupon snap offers through GPS technology. Location-based marketing rules contrary to the monolithic being of traditional marketing methods within the realms of forecasting consumer behaviors with regard to social, cultural and personal perspectives at a specific time. Location based services have allowed companies to know a lot of words about consumer behavior of on the go end users betwixt real time and cyber networks' opt-in. And meanwhile companies get consumers' foot in the door to fix brand loyalty up with an engagement of the right person and right time offer. In this master thesis attitude and behaviour of university students towards location based services and check-in apps is made a study on information and communication technologies, B2C e-commerce, mobile commerce, webvolution and location-based marketing. The why and wherefore of this master thesis is to portray attitude and behaviour of Anadolu University Business Administration undergraduate degree students towards location based services and check-in apps.
