Özet (EN)

Aim: In this study, it is aimed to measure the balance chlorine from the inputs and outputs of water tanks in Dicle University campus, to take bacteriological water samples and to determine the microbiological pollution level, at the same time to evaluate the physical conditions and periodic maintenance of the water tanks and to contribute to the improvement studies by determining the effect of this Material and Method: This work is a defining work. 23 warehouses located in 30 buildings in the university campus are covered by research. In order to evaluate the physical properties of the warehouses, The Warehouse evaluation form was prepared and applied. The balance chlorine and PH measurement was made from the tank entrance, the outlet (tap) at the end point with the tank, and the 8 wells. Afterwards, sterile water sample bottles were sampled for the appropriate Bacteriological Analysis and they were filtered through 4.5 micron filters and planted into the appropriate media. Results: Of the warehouses, 36.0% are reinforced concrete, 6.0% are galvanised and 8.0% are of sheet/metal construction. Microorganisms were produced in 37.5% of reinforced concrete stores, 62.0% of galvanised stores, and 50.0% of sheet/ metal stores. Of the 5 samples taken from the warehouse entrance, 60% of the 23 samples taken from the warehouses, 52% of the 33 samples taken from the warehouse exit produced microorganisms in 57%. 26 different micro-organisms detected in 54 samples; Cupriavidus gilardii %82,0, Bacillus cereus, %4,0, Delfita acidovorans %2,0, Stapphylococcus spp. %48,0, Enterobakter spp %8,0, Aeromanas spp %13,0, Acinetobacter baumanni %2,0, Klebsiella pneumoniae %2,0, Enterococcus spp %4,0, Pseudomonas stutzeri %4,0, Rhizobium Radiobacter %2,0, E. Coli %12,0. Conclusions and recommendations: The water tanks in the campus were found to be not in compliance with the provisions of the ' regulation on Waters for human consumption' and other relevant legislation, were not cleaned periodically and water analyses were not carried out. Since micro-organisms are produced in Wells where water is supplied, water protection measures must be taken immediately and water analyses must be carried out in accordance with the legislation. Regular cleaning, disinfecting, safe drinking and using water supply is one of the most important steps.
