Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to examine the relationships between memorable tourism experience, destination brand personality, destination attachment, satisfaction and behavioral intention. The better understanding of these relationships will both benefit the researchers and destination managers. This study, therefore, contributes to literature by (i) developing a valid and reliable scale for the measurement of memorable tourism experience, destination brand personality, destination attachment, satisfaction and behavioral intention; (ii) revealing the relationship between memorable tourism experience and destination brand personality which hasn't been studied before in the literature; (iii) discovering how the relationships between memorable tourism experience, destination attachment, destination brand personality, satisfaction and behavioral intention of Turkish tourists' are formed. The data of the research were collected from a five star hotel in the city centre of Antalya via questionnaries. The survey is carried by a structural equation modeling on 452 respondents and the findings indicate that variables of this study are positively associated with each other and depending on these relationships suggestions are advised to researchers and destination managers.
