Abstract (EN)
Success rate of American movie sector has risen up steadily due to the phenomenal rapid growth in its own right. Having been able to make the best of technological opportunities, the visual shows in the computer aided films, produced by using digital effects, and the presence of giant film studios in Hollywood, that virtually remind of a city, have become effective on this success story. In my thesis, it is aimed to introduce the Universal Studios which are known as the biggest film studios in Hollywood. Universal Studios are originated back nearly a century-old past, therefore it has provided the latest technological opportunities that are necessary for the filmmaking process to the production crew. It's also possible to have an idea about the American film industry, which keeps hold of the world market in a peerless fashion, just by visiting Universal Studios. On one hand, by having kept the movie sets since a century in order to use in movies at present, having added new contemporary technological advances to its industry, on the other hand, having presented "stop trick" technology of the films, since the beginning of the film production history, Universal Studios form the best example of the formation steps of the film industry. All in all, these are the basic reasons why Universal Studios are always the primary preferences for the documentaries among other tens of studios.
