Abstract (EN)
The noise generated by the machines that are present in the production area is a major problem for the employees. A variety of control methods are applied to reduce the noise generated from the manufacturing process, to control it and to remove it from being harmful to employees. In the source of noise, in the spreading environment and finally in the receiver, the most important noise control steps. Benefits from the effects on the employees at the production level, the limit values and the relevant regulations and standards. After examining the methods of measuring the sound levels of the equipments we use in the production area, in which ways the noise can be controled are showed by the means of the examples. Noise control was carried out with risk assessment, production site setting, exposure prevention, personal protective equipment ear protectors, silent machine selection, hearing loss and health examinations. In this thesis study, three different factories were examined in terms of noise, noise sources were determined, environment and personal exposure measurements were made and various applications were made to protect from noise.
