Abstract (EN)
Within the context of the study, the conversion of the way interaction between artwork and audience happens was examined in terms of the concepts of art, artwork and museum transformed through developing technology. It was set out to reveal how interactive art occurs in order to discuss what it is before referring its examples at digital age accordingly. It was focussed on the dimension of interaction of artwork and audience which has digitalized in accordance with the self-structure and the way it is presented of artwork and also the expectations of audience as artwork, like the age, has digitalized through new technologies. It was discussed how digitalization and new technologies shape art, and whether it is more than a tool used to practice art. The purpose of the study was to examine to determine the conversion of technology and art interaction in terms of artwork and audience from point of view of actors in creation, also to identify the artistic dimension of human-machine interaction. In this context, a qualitative research was conducted by in-depth interviews with a total of twelve artists creating artworks with technologies such as new media art, interactive art, video installation, algorithms and three-dimensional fractals, sound and music, virtual reality and augmented reality, three-dimensional design, artificial intelligence and machine learning and three curators who work together with these artists. The results have revealed that digital technologies affect creation and wieving processes of art and interactive digital works strengthen audience's relationship with artwork by making audience from passive to active in participation.
