Data were collected by using a questionnaire which is prepared for determine the opinions of healty individuals, patient identification form, skin integrity assesment form and patient monitoring form. The data was analysed using SPSS (Statistical Package fo Social Sciences) 22.0 statistical package program. In analysis of the data was used percentage, chi-square, Fisher's chi-square, Spearman's correlateion, Kruskall-Wallis and Mann –Whitney and Student t tests. Dermatitis was developed 3 on right side of the hip, left side of the hip, 4 in the right groin and left groin inguinal region was formed in 1 of the sacrum of patients in the experimental group. Dermatitis was developed in 16.7% in fifth, in sixth and in seventh days of patients in the control group. There was no statistically significant difference between the percentage of developing dermatitis in experimental and control groups. As a result it was determined that newly developed incontinence care product is in the available features as well as the diaper used in the control group and there was no statistically significant difference in terms of creating dermatitis. Improving of features of the newly incontinence care product and implementing of the study in a greater number of patients and in different patients groups is recommended.
