Abstract (EN)

In the globalized world, with changing conditions, it is necessary for all businesses to give necessary importance to quality in order to compete. Therefore, in order to ensure the sustainability of quality, it is crucial to have a good understanding and implementation of the components of quality. Businesses should respond to customer expectations with minimum errors and maximum efficiency throughout the entire process until the final product is obtained. The implementation of quality improvement activities requires a continuous decision-making mechanism. When the correct decision-making methods are used, every situation that requires decision-making will result in success. In this context, within the scope of this study, the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) was used in the quality planning of Company X to prioritize processes based on their risk levels and make decisions regarding the prioritized improvements using the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method. The study also aims to demonstrate the impact of these decisions on quality costs by monitoring them using the PAF Model. This study contributes to the literature by combining the FMEA and FAHP methods and demonstrating a holistic approach through the monitoring of costs with the PAF model.
