An assesment on visual pollution of usage to the building and road for usak city

Orientation from rural areas to urban areas occured during the history and important developments were effective to determine the speed of it. Urbanization can't be prevented but it is important to arrange the orientation under control. Otherwise, irregular urbanization will bring different problems. Troubles like irregular buildings, factories in city, narrow streets and environment pollution cause visual pollution that disturbs humans. Although visual pollution is so common in Uşak that is our research area, preventive actions aren't produced. Shopkeepers can demonstrate their goods on pavements easily. İn this study, it was aimed to create awareness of individuals and local authorities on this topic by giving examples on visual pollution. In this research, the topic was evaluated with different works on visual pollution, circular on visual pollution and with photographic detections that are carried out in accordance with conformity and sustainability issues at the research area. At the end of the evaluations, nasties like coolers on the walls, advertising boards, tents, untidy meal and ventilation pipes, inadaptable cell towers and buildings, writings on the walls, bus stations on the pavements and the excavated roads were widely encountered in the research area. It is thought that this visual pollution were caused by lack of education on this topic, nonexistence of standardization and any official punishment. It is impossible for people to struggle againts a situation that they don't know. So it is believed that the useful studies related to these problematic issues would help strengthen this struggle considerably.
