Abstract (EN)
In this study, Ag / Cu based catalyst was synthesized with the impregnation method for hydrocarbon-selective catalytic reduction (HC-SCR) system. In this system, a mixture of ethyl alcohol and distilled water was used as a reducing agent and the effect of the synthesized catalyst on NOx conversion efficiency was investigated. The analysis done by SEM, XRD, and BET revealed the structural and chemical peoperties of the catalysts. In the SCR exhaust test performance system, experiments in a temperature ranging from 170°C to 260°C, and 2 different space velocities SV(20000h-1, and 40000h-1) were conducted using the prepared catalyst. The tests were conducted using a 2 cylinders, V-type diesel motor with constant speed(3000r/m), and in 4 different engine loads(1,2,3, and 4KW). These tests determined the effects of SCR catalyst over NOx emissions rate. In colclusion, NOx converison rates changed approximately between 55% and 65%. The highest NOx conversion rate recorded in the tests was approximately 68% at 4KW engine load, 100% ehtyl alcohol spraying, and SV=20000h-1.
