Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to identify gifted and talented students' utilization levels , frequencies and aims of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). In this context, it is targeted to determine gifted and talented students' utilization levels of ICT in terms of various variables. The sample of this study consisted of 327 secondary and high school students who were registered in Science and Art Center (SAC) for gifted and talented students in Kırşehir and Kaman through the academic year of 2015-2016. General screening model was used in this descriptive study. Data was gathered by using personal information form prepared by the researcher and "The scale of Utilization from ICT" devoloped by Özmusul (2011). Girls made use of ICT more than boys did. The students who attended SAC for 7-9 years benefited from ICT more than the ones who attended SAC for 1-3 years. The group whose family's monthly average income was 5.001 TL and above it made use of ICT more than the group whose family's monthly average income was between 0 and 1.300 TL. The group whose age of starting using computers was between 2 and 5 benefited from ICT more than the group whose age of starting using computers was between 9 and 11. The students who had internet connection at home made use of ICT more than the ones who didn't. The students who had tablet computers benefited from ICT more than the ones who didn't.
