In this study satellites investigated that their orbit, type and target of use. In addition, we presentedinformation about scientific, meteorological and remote sensing satellites which have launched between 1996-2005.Finally we applied ERDAS remote sensing programme on QUICKBIRD satellite image on 4 August 2004.Key Words: Satellite, Erdas, Quickbird
