China, the first of the historical development of ceramics appears to be the beginning, the different firing techniques, formatting, and many areas in the discovery of silver up to the world's largest production center.In social life, the tea and tea drinking was seen as a culture in China, tea serving use of the ceramic bowl and the inside of the bowl with the tea, thanks to good-looking concerned, are similar to each other, but each individual excellence which secrets are discovered. From the period of the Han Dynasty (BC 206-MS 220), blue and white to start production until the period of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) in a process widely used brown-black glazed ceramics of the period of Song Dynasty (960-1279) produced Jian tea bowl with the most good examples are the glazes.In this period, the Northern Song and Southern Song to its two major centers in the region for the production Jian, Jizhou and Cizhou. Cizhou ceramics produced Jizhou and Jian in the name of that region with are produced again.Tea bowls which produces in Jian, after the Japanese Zen Buddhist monks in China and visits to move to the bowl, has been named as Temmoku. After the beginning of exported, Temmoku produced in Mino and Seto kiln at the Kmakura Period (14th century).Until the Ming Dynasty, continuing popularity of Temmoku production stopped in China but also production has continued a long time in Japan.Today, widely known as the Jian Temmoku glazes are used by artists from many countries of the world.
