Abstract (EN)
In today's rapidly changing business world, with the development of technology and the widespread use of communication tools, the remote working model has become more prevalent. Remote working offers employees the opportunity for flexibility and work-life balance, while also having significant impacts on work stress and job satisfaction. In the study, a survey was conducted with 412 participants, randomly selected from individuals working remotely in various sectors across Turkey. The survey consists of three sections. The findings of the research show that remote working has a positive effect on work stress (Beta = 0.560, t = 13.676, p = 0.000) and job satisfaction (Beta = 0.176, t = 3.620, p = 0.000). According to the results of the correlation analysis, there is a very strong, positive, and significant relationship (r = 0.950, p = 0.000) between remote working effectiveness and job satisfaction. Additionally, a strong, positive, and significant relationship (r = 0.863, p = 0.000) was found between remote working stress and work-life balance. These findings indicate that while remote working can increase employees' work stress levels, it can also increase job satisfaction. Furthermore, demographic factors and work conditions play a decisive role in the effects of remote working on work stress and job satisfaction. Therefore, it is important to develop strategies that will minimize the negative effects on work stress and job satisfaction when planning remote working programs.
