Abstract (EN)
An effective education requires using correct techniques and balanced assessment during the course. In the framework of redesigning and update processes of training curriculums, assessment techniques are developed and implemented in the school activities. There are many work focused on the comparison of contemporary and conventional assessment techniques in the secondary schools. According to the results, contemporary techniques yield better results than classical techniques. In this work, students are evaluated in a web-based distance education system using contemporary assessment techniques. From the contemporary assessment techniques, structured grid, branched tree and test techniques are used.Main purposes to design such a system are to use the time more effective, to obtain more authoritative results and to get feedback from deficiencies in education.Teachers will be benefitted when preparing exams and evaluating the results. Students can be evaluated after the courses; therefore teachers can focus on the course content rather than the exam. Teachers will be able to evaluate their students using many modern approaches. Results have been objective and reliable.
