Preparation of exam management module for distance education

The students whose uses Distance Education Technologies can follow their courses in web based online systems and use the technology effectively. In an environment where technology is used effectively, the fact that the exam organization is still making with traditional methods is a serious workload and time loss. The main purpose of this study is to prepare the exam questions and documents for the students taking courses with distance Education in the web based environment and adapt them to the technology. In this thesis, direction of the needs for distance education units a module was developped and success has been tried with applying to Final Exam in Afyon Kocatepe University Distance Education Vocational School, 2017-2018 education year, spring semester. For this aim, in Turkey, previously developed and currently in use exam management modules was exanined. In this module; containing all lessons a student gets, question bank, answer paper and printing of booklet, many required features are fulfilled. Moreover, this module, because it is not connected to a tool or space, it is convenient the web based test management system so saves time and workload.
