The effect of EBA use in distance education on students' success and motivation

With COVID education institutions have embraced online teaching and the use of EBA has increased massively. EBA addresses all student groups in the K12 level as a learning coordination system. During the study the process of online learning with the use of EBA and students overall success rate has been examined closely. The study has worked with 68 secondary class students in Ümraniye, Istanbul. 6th grade students who have taken IT and programming classes have been split into two groups, control and experimental group. The use of EBA and the effect of gamification elements like (scoring, rosette, and standings) have been examined and evaluated. The study has proved that the students in the experimental group have been more successful due to the use of EBA.
