An analyse about distance education strategic plans of universities

As in many sector, it is important and necessary to take long-term precautions and to develop consistent strategic approaches in distance education administration. In this study, the concept of strategic planing, the importance of the strategic planning for the distance education institutions, the steps in strategic planning are emphasized. State, private and special status universities and vocational high schools in Turkey are included in this study. Following there is an anaylze about distance education strategic plans of Turkish üniversities which shared their distance education strategic plans for the study.
